Join Spot and his friends as they go on an adventure to the park in this fun lift-the-flap tale.

It's a lovely day, and Spot is excited to take his ball to the park and play with his friends. But, oh no - he throws the ball too far, and it gets lost! Luckily, he makes a new friend who can help get it back...

With fun flaps to develop fine motor skills and an adventurous story to encourage curiosity and exploration, this classic story is perfect for early learning and play.

Eric Hill's Where's Spot? was the first ever lift-the-flap book - and his ground-breaking innovation continues to delight and surprise readers with interactive fun. Spot has now been a trusted character in early learning for over 40 years, selling over 65 million books worldwide.

Biographical note

Eric Hill (1927-2014) started his artistic career as an art studio messenger and from there went on to become a cartoonist and eventually an art director at a leading advertising agency. In 1978 Eric made up a story about a small puppy to read to his son at bedtime and Spot was born. The success of his first bestselling lift-the-flap classic Where's Spot? in 1980 convinced him to become a full-time author, and his Spot books have been enjoyed by children around the world ever since. In 2008 he was awarded an OBE for services to children's literacy.
